Adrián Quetglas in Palma is named after its chef/owner and offers affordable gourmet cuisine in the form of tasting menus. Adrián spent ten successful years in Moscow, where he gained an enviable reputation and still owns several restaurants. This restaurant together with six others retain their stars again for 2019: Zaranda (2 stars), Es Fum, Marc Fosh, Es Racó d’es Teix, Jardín and Andreu Genestra.

Royal Beach Gastrosenses right on Platja de Muro is another restaurant that’s not strictly new, but it did make a significant change in 2016 by commissioning Andreu Genestra (of the Michelin-starred Andreu Genestra in Capdepera and Palma’s Aromata) to create a new culinary concept.
