The renowned Nikki Beach group opened their first club in the Balearics (ahead of Ibiza) in the newly renovated area of Magaluf (also known as Calvià Beach Resort).
There is a lot of hype about Nikki Beach – the place to see and be seen – it’s hyper-cool and over-the-top pretentious so you don’t go there for a nice discreet lunch or dinner. This is the place to come and eat and drink with a group of 10-20 friends for fun and to enjoy the party atmosphere and glamour of the Nikki Beach brand.
Alex G was appointed regional executive chef of Spain in 2017 and has implemented several welcome changes to Nikki Beach Mallorca’s culinary offering. New for 2017 are: the introduction of the ‘Rolls Royce of Oysters’ to the raw offering – served on a live oyster trolley station, where oysters are shucked in front of the guests; Amazing Sundays Champagne Brunch and, in line with Nikki Beach’s slogan ‘fit and fun’, a new healthy options section on the menu. The latter includes light and tasty dishes made from ecological and 0km produce. Although the brand is global, Nikki Beach Mallorca makes good use of local produce, such as the famous Sóller prawns – here turned into a red prawn carpaccio with a tangy citrus dressing and basil oil.
For quality reasons, certain ingredients are sourced off the island, including the ‘Rubia Gallega’ meat from Galicia and some sushi ingredients, direct from Japan.
The menu has a number of sections, including salads, sandwiches & wraps, raw bar, sushi, signature platters (for sharing), caviar section, and rotisserie. Vegetarians and those on a gluten-free diet will find plenty of choice.
It is not easy to find a beach club offering good food and this is where Nikki Beach seems to have overtaken some of the longer established beach clubs on the island.
Feast on amazing sea food, sip your favourite cocktail and enjoy the wonderful seafront setting, all in a great party atmosphere.
Nikki Beach offers a packed programme of themed days and events, including the weekly Ladies’ Tuesdays (get your girlfriends together for a glamorous afternoon out), and the Amazing Sundays Champagne Brunch – regular new events for 2017.
Other event highlights for 2017 include:
- Circus Circus – Nikki Beach Mallorca White Party on June 8th
- San Juan – June 23rd – a summer ‘must’
- What Women Want – July 1st
- Nikki Beach Mallorca’s 5th anniversary ‘Celebration of Life’ – July 29th
- Oktoberfest Weekend – September 15th-17th
