Stroll around Palma Aquarium and be transported to a magical underground world, set to the quiet strains of classical music.
Reflecting the genuine environment and ecological system of living creatures in the Mediterranean Sea and Indian, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, the aquarium delights and enthralls all ages. Children in particular are drawn to the Big Blue shark tank, the deepest in Europe at 8.5 metres, where they sit and watch on comfy pillows.
There are two cafes, a large gift shop with nice-quality items and a fab outdoor play area complete with pirate ship, splash park and bouncy castle.
The aquarium is located a little out of the city in the suburb of Playa de Palma, close to the airport. Buses number 210, 15 and 25 go direct from the centre and stop right outside.
Discount vouchers for the entry cost can be downloaded from the official Palma Aquarium website.
