There are just two chances a year to see this in Palma’s La Seu (Cathedral); one is on the feast of St Martin. If the sun shines, visitors inside the cathedral see the reflection of the large rose window appearing below the other rose window, forming a colourful figure of eight.
Candlemas – February 2nd – is one of only two chances in the year to see this superb spectacle in Palma. The second one is on the 11th of November.
If the sun shines, between 08:00 and 09:00h, visitors inside the cathedral see the reflection of the large rose window sits just below the rose window of the main façade, forming a colourful figure ‘8’.
