The Palma Marathon takes runners along the city’s beautiful seaside promenade and past some of the most iconic sights of Mallorca’s capital.
What to expect
The main races are held on Sunday 11th October at 9.00. These includes a full marathon, half marathon, and 10km. They all set off from Parc de la Mar and take runners on a loop of one section of the Paseo Marítimo before leading them into the old town. For the sporty, it’s a wonderful way of exploring the capital and being cheered on at the same time.
Registration is essential and ticket prices vary depending on when you book. Book by the end of May for Earlybird tickets of €60 for the full marathon, €35 for the half marathon, and €20 for the 10 km. There are also discounted fees for residents.
Palma Kids Run takes place on Saturday 10th October at 17.00. The free event promotes social integration, solidarity and team spirit. Race number pick up is on Friday 11.00 – 19.00 and Saturday 11.00 to 16.00 from Avenida Antonio Maura.
