About the Park Hyatt Mallorca
A reinvented classic Balearic seaside ‘village’ in the Canyamel valley of Mallorca is the idyllic location for the first Park Hyatt in Spain. One of eight exclusive Park Hyatt hotels in Europe, Park Hyatt Mallorca offers 142 well-appointed rooms and 16 suites with all the five-star luxury amenities expected of the Hyatt’s refined brand. It is no surprise the discriminating chain chose Canyamel, a picturesque resort in the northeast of Mallorca. Close to the island’s pristine beaches of Cala Ratjada and Cala Mesquida and picturesque towns of Artá and Capdepera, the Park Hyatt Mallorca is a sophisticated stay for history buffs and sun worshippers alike.
Park Hyatt Dining
Chef Manu Periera oversees the fine dining Asia Restaurant of the Park Hyatt Mallorca. The cuisine specialises in fresh seasonal ingredients such as the famous sweet shrimp from Cala Rajada and local seafood infused with eastern flavours. Enjoy a creative cocktail or after dinner nightcap on the terrace looking out over terracotta rooftops and sparking sea beyond.
The traditional Tapas Bar and all-day eatery Café Sa Plaça are overseen by Michelin-starred Basque chef David García who has created local, seasonal Mallorcan menus featuring products from the island such as olive oil, olives, salts, honey, cheeses, and preserves, all of which are sold on the premises to take home. There is also a traditional Mallorcan bakery making ensaimadas, a favourite island pastry.
Park Hyatt Wellbeing
The Serenitas Spa offers seven treatment rooms including a vitality pool, sensory showers, and a couples’ room. Park Hyatt Mallorca also has the only alpha-quartz-sand bed on the island. Taken from the greek concept of ‘psammotherapy’, the sand bed is heated to various temperatures to relax and restore the body. Hotel gym facilities have state-of-the-art equipment and personal training can be arranged. There are three pools on the hotel premises, two of which are heated.
