Calviá nautical and leisure complex Puerto Portals celebrated its 30th anniversary as one of the most prestigious marinas in the Mediterranean with a special commemoration.
English, German, Spanish
Throughout its history, Puerto Portals has been a meeting place for entrepreneurs, distinguished personalities and visitors from around the world, earning renown for the quality of its facilities, shopping and leisure opportunities.
Hundreds of personalities from all areas of the Balearic Islands, including Mr. Alfonso Rodríguez, mayor of Calvià; Mr. Francisco Javier Ramis, general director of ports and airports of the Balearic Islands and Mr. Pilar Carbonell, general director of tourism of the Balearic government, appeared to show their support to the dedicated team of Puerto Portals during its landmark anniversary.
Corinna Graf, the port’s CEO, wished to demonstrate appreciation to all who are and have been part of the family of Puerto Portals, who have made it a reference point both in Mallorca and throughout the Mediterranean.
Corinna also dedicated some touching words to her parents, Dr. Klaus Graf and Margarita Graf, founders of Puerto Portals, praising their vision, entrepreneurial spirit and courage. Looking to the future, she announced that the team will continue to work to maintain the quality standards that deliver an ideal marina for the whole family to enjoy, 365 days a year.
Among the many guests of Mallorcan society present were Norma Duval, Matthias Kuhn, Cristina Macaya, Fernando Pérez Arellano and Esteban Mercer. All were invited to taste the cuisine of prestigious chef Marc Fosh, the first British chef to be awarded a Michelin star in Spain, and to enjoy a live concert performed by the group Anglada Cerezuela, formed by singer Jaime Anglada and actress Carolina Cerezuela, which proved a great success.
Puerto Portals is distinguished by its strategic location in the bay of Palma, just nine kilometres from the island’s capital, and by its superb facilities, both sporting – featuring 639 berths – and commercial, with a wide range of leisure and quality gastronomic offerings. All of this has made the port a unique enclave and a favourite entertainment location for lovers of the Med.
