This is a very special 18-hole course in the Son Servera municipality in the northeast area of Mallorca, where the Llevant hills provide the backdrop. Pula Golf was inaugurated in 1995 and subsequently redesigned by José Maria Olazábal. It’s a championship course that has hosted the PGA European Tour’s Mallorca Classic, so expect a high standard of green-keeping and excellent playing conditions.
The warm sun on your face and arms as you line up for a swing to the glittering backdrop of the Med and mountains… This is golf, Mallorca style. […] Golf Mallorca
Pula Golf is one of the longer courses on the island and is very open. The latter means that wind can be an influencing factor when setting up your shots, particularly around the 16th hole. This is generally a testing course, and you’ll need your handicap certificate.
On the 14th and 15th fairways you’ll spot a part of Mallorca’s history, a talayot – a prehistoric stone ruin.
If you want to make the most of the course, at its heart is a delightful place to stay: the Petit Hotel Cases de Pula is an old manorial home, dating back to 1581, that’s been converted into a charming hotel. It has its own spa, open from April to October.
Other sporting facilities at Pula Golf including a swimming pool, two tennis courts and two paddle courts.
Pula Golf has a strict dress code of no t-shirts, but wouldn’t you expect that at one of Mallorca’s best courses?
