This charming boutique hotel situated in the Sierra de Tramuntana, between Sóller and Deià, is a romantic place in which to enjoy excellent gastronomy. The building from the 18th century attracts island residents as well as tourists.
You can dine in the old ‘tafona’ (olive press) or on the picturesque terrace with flowers and beautiful views over the Tramuntana (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Sóller – maybe the best views on the island! The place itself is perfect and the cuisine by the chef Guillermo Igarza from Sóller is exquisite.
Based on the traditional Mallorcan cuisine, Igarza offers innovative and creative dishes with ingredients from organic farming. For lunch there is a bistro-style menu including tapas, salads, and main courses (including fish of the day).
At dinner you can choose à la carte, a six-course tasting menu or, with advance notice, representative Mallorcan dishes. We have enjoyed the local fish ‘negrito’, and the rack of lamb in a basil and pine nut crust. Excellent Mallorcan and Spanish wines. A meal at Ca’s Xorc is a treat for all the senses.
We love: The amazing kitchen – take a peek!
