Husband & wife team
Responsible for the first-class food and friendly, attentive service at Es Passeig are German husband and wife Marcel and Yvonne Battenburg.
Marcel has worked with many great chefs in famous restaurants all over Europe such as the Bellevue Palace in Switzerland, at the Bayreuth Festival as well as in the three Michelin Star Restaurant of Dieter Müller in Germany.
Yvonne, who takes care of ensuring excellent professional service at Es Passeig, began her apprenticeship in a five-star Hotel in Baden-Baden, South-West Germany. Afterwards she moved to London, before arriving on Mallorca in 2001, where she first took up a position at the famous Hotel La Residencia in Deiá.
