About Sa Punta
Situated in the small town of Pont Verd, near Cala Bona, along the east coast of Mallorca, Sa Punta truly offers sweeping sea views that extend nearly 180 degrees. Its privileged location on a small, rocky point that overlooks the sea, create the feeling as if there were nothing but the sea all around.
With a large indoor and outdoor zones, the restaurant welcomes diners for lunch and dinner, Tuesdays through Sundays. Sa Punta has been on the island for 20 years and in 2017 the restaurant underwent a makeover, making it a new gastronomic destination on the island.
On the menu
The cuisine at Sa Punta is Mediterranean focused along with traditional Mallorcan specialities and tapas. Chefs Diego Zimmermann and Oscar Manchado Trillo oversee the kitchen with a dedication to using fresh, local ingredients of the highest quality. Homemade paellas and rice dishes, and dynamic tapas dishes, such as clams from carril with artichokes. Sophisticated and innovative, popular dishes include grilled octopus with potato foam and paprika and salt-crusted sea bass. But it doesn’t stop at the food, creative cocktails and an extensive menu of sprits includes rare finds for gin, whiskey, and rum, alongside top wines from the region and around the world.
Sa Punta features a Mediterranean inspired décor, with a stylish beach vibe, appropriate to its location by the sea. The large indoor space features soft, monochrome tones of white and sand, with stone walls and subtly white-washed wood beams, while tables are draped in white tablecloths with comfortable chairs. Floor to ceiling windows, which open up, creates an indoor outdoor feel, while the large outside terrace, dotted with palm trees, has a nature stone and rocky ground, white tablecloths on the tables, and soft lighting for the evening to create a romantic atmosphere.
