About Sa Casa Mallorquina
Sa Casa Mallorquina is a lifestyle concept store located in the picturesque village of Algaida in central Mallorca, combining within its walls the worlds authentic gourmet dining, interior design, and fashion.
Behind the project are entrepreneurs Piergiorgio Cappuccio and Milena Bagnati, whose goal was to rejuvenate a beautiful typically Mallorcan house in which to open a concept space for Italian products, arts and gastronomy.
Gourmet Italian dining and dinner club
Algaida is well known for the presence of some of the most famous traditional restaurants in Mallorca, and signature Italian cuisine fits well in this context. So here the curious traveller can discover an alternative to mass tourism in an authentic and unspoilt village. Sa Casa Mallorquina offer an impeccable experience, starting with the ingredient selection through to the top-quality customer service. The idea of the owners is to imbue their guests with the sense of being at home, so on the walls of the restaurant you will find works by local and Italian artist.
Their restaurant is at the heart of the concept, and offers Italian cuisine in a relaxed and atmospheric setting. The kitchen team are from Italy, which contributes to a more authentically Italian environment. Also their chef, Moreno Quero, brought his cooking concept from Italy – the spirit of his kitchen being a lively show of colours and traditional Italian flavours.
There is space for up to 74 diners, who can choose to dine inside or al fresco in the pretty garden terrace. Highlights of the menu include fresh scallops, tagliata of Iberian pork and delicious homemade pasta. The ethos behind the cooking is to focus only on just a few key ingredients and to let them shine. Read the full restaurant review here.

Art, fashion and interiors
At Sa Casa Mallorquina you will also find a world of interior design, furnishings, and art for your home. Much of their interior design offering springs from the philosophy of the recovery and repurposing of objects to give them new life.
There’s a small collection of fashion pieces sourced from Italy, while an art gallery connects to the restaurant under the banner of ‘Food & Art’ with artworks by both local and Italian artists.
