Set in a beautiful valley among mountains and forests, S’Arraco is small village in the southwest corner of Mallorca popular with international residents who are looking for a quiet place to live with good access to nearby towns and resorts. It consists mainly of traditional, stone properties and retains the rustic charm of old Mallorca.
Close to Andratx town and the Tramuntana mountain foothills – despite its sleepy appearance, S’Arraco has a rebellious history.
There is not much to do in the village itself but it provides an excellent starting point for many things to see and do in this part of the island. The village is mainly residential but there is a small church which dates from 1742.

There were also attacks from pirates based on the island of Dragonera including the infamous Red Beard also known as Barbarossa.
S’Arraco also has a strong French influence as many Arraconers left the area for France and later returned. Today S’Arraco is home to a quiet, international community in search of rural tranquility.
