Simply Kerly closed down on the 30th of july, 2016.
Simply Kerly is named after its English chef, Lee Kerly – one of two partners in this restaurant, which opened in February 2015. Housed in what was formerly the traditional Mallorcan roadside restaurant S’Hostal, it’s conveniently located just off the Ma-13 motorway and has a large car park.
Eat in the traditional-style dining room or in the garden at the rear, where there’s an attractive shaded area of tables and chairs.
Enthusiastic chef Lee trained in London and worked for Conran restaurants before travelling the world to develop his culinary repertoire. His cuisine is Mediterranean with Thai and Japanese influences, and based on fresh good-quality produce.
Stocks and bread are home-made. On request, he creates dishes for vegetarians, vegans, and coeliacs (although much of his cuisine is gluten-free).
Wines, like the food, are good value for the quality here. Service is led by Lee’s charming Mallorcan wife Enedina. Live music plays occasionally at night.
