Maintaining a beautiful landscaped garden is always a costly affair, and that was the case on the private ‘finca’ Son Palou. In 2004 the owners decided to plant some vines on the plot. During hot summer months the vineyards are flourishing and rarely require artificial irrigation. Thinking that was practical, the owners, Barbara Bergman and Klas Käll, who also own the famous concept store Rialto Living in Palma, found their great passion.
The grapes of Son Palou are transformed into wine by prestigious Bodega Ribas. Ribas had already been involved in the planning of the vineyard. They chose two autochthonous vines (Gorgollassa and Prensal) and two international varieties (Shiraz and Chenin Blanc).
Coa Negra 2011
Gorgollasa & Syrah.
The strong body brightly shines in ruby red. The fantastic bouquet is characterized by notes of blackberries and raspberries. The palate is pampered with sensations of velvet. Succulent berries extend their aroma towards and beyond the finish. Superb wine from a private estate!
