The philosophy of John Astor – founder of St Regis – was that guests should feel they were staying, not in a hotel, but with an old friend. Although one of Mallorca’s most luxurious hotels, it’s easy to relax here and that’s as much due to the attention to detail and service, as the facilities.
There are 130 rooms and suites, all spacious and elegantly appointed, many offering views over the landscaped gardens, with large outdoor pool (and bar), leading down to the sea.
The Arabella Spa is one of Europe’s largest, with facilities including pools, Jacuzzi, Egyptian brine bath, saunas, ice cave, and rooms offering a range of holistic treatments, including Thalasso therapy and Chinese medicine.
For dining, there’s the restaurant Aqua, serving Mallorcan/Mediterranean cuisine in an elegant but informal setting, and the intimate Michelin starred Es Fum, where gourmets will experience the memorable, creative cuisine of Austrian chef Thomas Kahl.
