If you’re a Starbucks aficionado, then you’ll finally be able to sip your favourite drink while in the heart of Palma’s historic centre.
The Seattle-based coffee chain, which already had two stores at the airport and in Fan Mallorca shopping centre, is now present in the town’s cultural heart, specifically in Plaza de Cort – a short distance from the square’s centennial olive tree and the town council building. The restoration of the property is notable, with an obvious effort to preserve the chequered marble floor and coffered ceilings in a black-and-white.
If you prefer to look at the sea while enjoying your favourite coffee, head to Palma Beach at Carretera Arenal. There, the first front line Starbucks in the country is located right on the beach, introduces an innovative design as well as a different kind of store concept as it offers the possibility to take in the Mediterranean from the 108sqm terrace.
