A professional panel of judges comprised of nationally and internationally-famed chefs handed out a stream of awards at this year’s TaPalma. The fun and fabulous gastronomic event, held each year in Palma, is a celebration of everything divine and delicious in the world of tapas.
Following the annual TaPalma ‘gastronomic route’ that takes place every October, it was an opportunity to honour numerous star players in the pro kitchen. Ca Na Joana Restaurant was announced winner of the Gold TaPalma award.
Prizes were also handed out for Best Cocktail, received by barman Úrsula Truyols for his concoction ‘Adriana Lima’; Best Theme, awarded to Pintxos & Vascos of Mercado Gastronómico de San Juan for its ‘Tortellini de salmón’; and Best Favourite Tapas, given on this occasion to Restaurant Bruselas, amongst others.
