A celebration of traditional and contemporary tapas, TaPalma returns for its 14th edition, from the 25th of November to the 1st of December.
Palma restaurants and bars offer specially created and reasonably priced tapas during the fair, which will include a programme of related activities, designed to showcase the creativity of local chefs.
Tapas are offered at around 2 euros each and the idea is to gather some friends (not too many) and hop from one participating bar to the next, enjoying a glass of wine or beer and your choice of tapas, before moving swiftly on to the next one!
Each year there is a judging panel that selects the best tapas and chef of the festival.
TaPalma is usually held in autumn and is well publicised in the local media – so keep an eye out!
In 2018, more than 30 establishments will be participating and the routes will include the areas of: Santa Catalina, Paseo Marítimo, Central Palma, Blanquerna, Génova, Playa de Palma, Mercado de San Juan, and Marratxí.
A mini-version of TaPalma is hosted every Tuesday in the bars of the old town, near the Plaza España. You get a pincho with a caña (draft beer) or a wine for just 2 euros.
