About The Pink Pepper Tree
This restored finca – originally dating back to 1570 – has been given a new lease of life as the Pink Pepper Tree, a cosy hotel in the village of Lloseta. Owners Jacqueline and Glynn (a Dutch-South African partnership) have made the Pink Pepper Tree a home-from-home, a place where guests can switch off from daily distraction and relax.
All eight bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms and have been decorated using natural materials, some of which have been designed by Jacqueline herself. Guests will appreciate the little, hand-made touches throughout including wicker lampshades and woven finishes.
The hotel focuses on creating a space that is tranquil which it achieves through light, open interiors and washed-out woods. It is a project with country living at its heart, and those with a love for the Mallorcan countryside will find a place of refuge at The Pink Pepper Tree.
Rooms and services
Guests can choose from a deluxe or standard room (with balcony and patio as an option too). The three deluxe rooms are all on the first floor and come with free-standing bath. The light and airy décor matches the rest of the hotel, and continues that feeling of whimsy free-spiritedness.
The two standard rooms can be made up to your choice, double or twin beds. They include en-suite bathrooms as well and Egyptian cotton bedding. Two further standard rooms come with a balcony overlooking the garden and village, and an extra standard comes with a patio. All eight rooms have central heating, air conditioning, a TV and free internet.
Health and wellbeing
The Pink Pepper Tree is the perfect place on Mallorca to heal, de-stress and concentrate on inner well-being. Two yoga teachers are available for private classes which can take place in the garden, on one of the private balconies or in the wellness space. In addition, private walking meditation is also offered where guests can walk in the mountains of Mallorca, focusing on their breathing, movement and senses.
Food at The Pink Pepper Tree is sourced local where possible and is always accompanied by a bottle of wine recommended by Glynn who specialises in organic wines. The kitchen is the centre of the hotel and where Jacqueline cooks home-made, organic dishes. Three times a week, guests can enjoy a surprise 4-course surprise!
