Tristán continues to be a mainstay of the gastronomy scene in glamorous Puerto Portals, with its prestigious position affording superlative views of the marina and the superb yachts moored there.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with professional and friendly service. All of this has made Tristán one of the port’s best-known restaurants for many years: Schwaiger first stood at the stoves here in 1986.The renowned German chef continues to offer an exceptional culinary experience, based on a wide range of fresh high-quality ingredients.
At lunchtime there’s a set three-course menu for 29,50 euros (including VAT, one bottle of water and one coffee); the set dinner menu offers a choice of three or course courses (49 and 63 euros respectively, including VAT, but without drinks). The à la carte menu features a very tempting choice of warm and cold starters, fish and meat dishes, and delicious desserts.
A pre-Christmas treat here is the roast goose – a festive tradition in Germany – and one that’s worth adopting here! Start or end your Tristán experience with a cocktail in their smart adjacent bar Capricho.
